The Mesh Band are an experienced function and wedding band looking to increase their bookings with a cool and fresh web presence. The idea of the site was to appeal to the younger generation of couples and event managers by creating an image that sits closer to an indie band than that of a wedding band. The site features a custom flash video player, scrolling set list, facebook and twitter social sharing buttons, mp3 player, mp3 downloads and is fully optimised for Google.

The site has been extended since I built it a year ago but the great thing about this type of website is that most of the content can be kept on the home page, keeping initial costs down.
